The CODE OF ETHICS is a statement of our commitment and aim to run the Premier League of Swaziland to the highest possible standards in a professional manner and with the utmost integrity.
With that aim we, the Chairperson’s of the Clubs in membership of the Premier League of Swaziland are determined:
a) to conduct our respective Club’s dealing with the utmost good faith and honesty;
b) at all times to maintain a rule book which is comprehensive, relevant and up-to date;
c) to adopt disciplinary procedures which are professional, fair and objective;
d) to submit to penalties which are fair and realistic;
e) to secure the monitoring of and compliance with the rules at all times.
THIS CODE OF ETHICS sets out our commitment to run the Premier League of Swaziland to the highest possible football standards and with integrity.
We will ensure that our Clubs:
- Behave with the utmost good faith and honesty to each other, do not unjustly criticise or disrepute or disparage one another and maintain confidences.
- Will comply with the Laws of the Game and follow Premier League of Swaziland and NFAS Constitution and Rules not only to the letter but also to their spirit and will ensure that our clubs and officials are fully aware of such rules and that we have effective procedures to implement same.
- Will respect the contractual obligation and responsibilities of each other’s employees and not seek to breach these or to make illegal approaches.
- Will discharge their financial responsibilities and obligations to each other promptly and fully and not seek to avoid them.
- Will seek to resolve differences between each other within the confines of the Constitution.
We are committed to a process of continuous improvement through setting attainable standards, which we will monitor and review.
