MBABANE– Resigned Manzini Wanderers officials, Management Committee chairperson Bheki Gamedze and treasurer Themba Mkoko have been recalled.

Also requested to withdraw his letter of resignation was Public Relations Officer (PRO) Babsy Mavuso.

Council of Elders Chairm-an Sipho Ntshalintshali confirmed that the trio had been requested to continue their duties within the team until Wanderers’ house was back in order. Ntshalintshali explained that the committees would continue until the team had set up the board of directors structure. He said the meeting with potential directors had been set for next Thursday at Tum’s George.

“Of course once we have the potential directors, which we are hoping to do next Thursday at Tum’s George Hotel, we will then unveil them to the supporters who are expected to bless them,” he said. He said upon their unveiling, the board would then set up their structure and then the board will retreat to the advisory board and let the board run the team through the MC.

“Once that has happened anyone from the existing MC can then decide to quit the team because by then we hope things will run smoothly,” he said.

Ntshalintshali said they had a meeting with the officials on Thursday where they managed to convince the officials to stay.
